White Cardstock Wine Bag with Foil Stamping and UV Print

Built from 250 g white cardstock, this bag holds one bottle. Since the paper is stiff, it stands on its own with a smooth surface that takes print cleanly, while the three-strand rope handles make carrying comfortable. Hot stamping brings a metallic shine, and UV coating adds a glossy raised texture; the included liner with storage for a card and a bottle opener makes the kit feel complete. Fits wineries, liquor stores, and event planners seeking premium presentation without a rigid box. Look elsewhere if a basic low-cost bag is enough. Give this a look for high-end gifting.

  • Material. 250 g white cardstock constructs the bag, and this thicker stock keeps its shape on the shelf while the handles resist tearing at the attachment points.
  • Finish. A real metallic effect comes from hot stamping, working well on logos or borders. Then UV coating adds gloss plus a slightly raised texture that catches the light just enough to notice.
  • Handles. Woven as three-strand rope and reinforced where they attach, these handles feel fine for a full bottle. They won't dig into your hand.
  • Liner. Standard with every bag, a universal card slot liner holds a bottle opener. It stops the bottle from shifting and adds an extra useful item for the recipient.
  • Artwork. Featuring a wine bottle with grapes, the stock design is yours to replace with your own logo, pattern, or full-color brand print.

Customisation

Your requirements dictate the bag's dimensions, print design, and liner. Size it for another bottle format, swap stock art for your own logo or pattern, and set the liner to hold what's needed; finish only stays the same: hot stamping plus UV coating on white cardstock. Send your bottle dimensions and look, then we'll build a sample before mass production.

How the bag is built

A single sheet of 250 g white cardstock starts as the body, folds into shape, then gets a glued side seam. A reinforced gusset at the bottom lets it spread flat when set down, keeping it tip-free. But the top edge is folded over and glued, creating a clean finished edge that secures the punched rope handles and adds strength.

Hot stamping sits flat under heat, so the job happens before any folding lets the metallic foil damage. After printing, UV coating applies as a clear gloss layer to stop the ink from scuffing when bags rub together at point of sale. The liner, a separate insert, slides inside after finishing; a die-cut slot and small pocket keep a card and bottle opener in place.

How the bottle sits

One standard 750 ml wine bottle fits this bag, held at the base by the liner so it won't slide sideways, though the neck stays free. That's fine for leaving a shop but not for courier shipping inside a carton since the bottle can still rattle. This design skips heavy spirits or magnums without custom sizing. We run two checks: a shake test, load a bottle and shake ten seconds to confirm no movement. And a 45 degree tilt test to confirm it won't slide out. Skip inversion tests, they're not designed for that. The rope handles get load-tested overnight with a full bottle to catch stretching or tearing at the attachments.

Where it fits

Wine tasting rooms use this bag to step away from rigid boxes when kraft shopping bags feel too basic, because the metallic stamp and glossy UV coating signal a premium buy to customers. For higher-end retail sales, it works. Courier shipments need extra protection, the cardstock will crush inside a van. A separate carton. Not sized for heavy spirits or magnums either, current design fits a standard 750 ml.

Buyer questions

Can this bag hold two bottles?

No, one standard 750 ml bottle is the designed capacity. Bases and liners work for a single bottle. A two bottle size, though, is something we can build for you.

Is the bottle opener included with every bag?

Yes, each bag includes the bottle opener in the standard liner. A small pocket within the liner holds it, one right beside a die-cut slot for a card.

Will the hot stamping scratch off?

Applied under heat and pressure, hot stamping bonds to the cardstock and survives normal handling, though heavy abrasion from rough surfaces in transit may show wear.
