How the box is built

The body uses rigid cardboard with enough thickness to hold a full bottle without bowing. Our board standard starts at 1200 g greyboard, and we face it with paper at 157 g minimum. You get a box that feels solid, not like a cereal box.

The foldable construction means the side panels crease flat for shipping and lock into place when you set it up. We check every foldable box before it leaves: the creases must not crack, the corners should sit at 90 degrees when erected, and the magnet or handle position is held to plus or minus 1 mm.

How the bottle sits

A single-bottle box has to do one job: keep the bottle from moving. We size the insert to your bottle's actual diameter and height, and we hold the insert tolerance to plus or minus 1 mm. The bottle should be held at four points, with no unsupported neck or shoulder. Before packing, we run our in-house checks. Shake the box for 10 seconds: no movement. Tilt it 45 degrees: no slide. Invert it: no release. If a bottle moves in any of those, the box doesn't ship. That's the same standard we apply to wooden and leather boxes, so you're not getting a lesser test just because this is cardboard.

Where it fits

The ribbon handle makes it easy to hand over at a counter or an event. Buyer questions

Can the ribbon handle support a full bottle of wine?

Yes. The handle is anchored into the top panel of the rigid cardboard box, not just glued to the surface. We test the handle with a full bottle loaded and the box lifted by the handle only. If it tears or the anchor loosens, we reinforce it before shipping.

Will the foldable creases show after the box is erected?

The creases are visible, but they should not crack or turn white. We check every foldable box before packing: the creases must flex cleanly, and the corners should sit at 90 degrees when the box is set up. If a crease cracks, that box is rejected.

Can I get this box with a different surface finish?
