Customisation

How the box is built

The box is rigid cardboard with a flap top. The facing is black with silver foil print. The bag is kraft paper with the same print. Both are made from paper materials, so the set is recyclable in most curbside programs.

We build the box from greyboard at 1200 g minimum and face it with paper at 157 g minimum. The flap top is scored so it opens without cracking. Corners are checked at 90 degrees when the box is erected. The bag handles are reinforced at the attachment points.

How the bottle sits

The inner lining is made to grip a standard 750ml wine bottle. It's not a loose tray; the lining has a high degree of adhesion, so the bottle doesn't slide. We check every design with three tests: shake the closed box for 10 seconds and there's no movement, tilt it to 45 degrees and the bottle doesn't slide, invert it and the bottle doesn't release. The lining also works with multiple bottle types, so you're not locked into one bottle shape. Our control tolerance for the insert is plus or minus 1 mm, and for the box body plus or minus 2 mm. That keeps the fit consistent from first article to final shipment.
