How the box is built

The box starts as a single die cut blank in recyclable cardboard. We crease the fold lines so it collapses flat and springs back into shape. Reinforced edges at the corners give it a little more stacking strength than a plain carton.

Bottle fit and our checks

You send us your bottle sample or its dimensions, and we adjust the cavity so the bottle sits snug without forcing. Our control tolerance on the insert is plus or minus 1 mm. Before release, we run our in house checks: shake the box for 10 seconds to confirm no movement, tilt it 45 degrees to confirm the bottle does not slide, and invert it to confirm it does not release. If the bottle moves in any of those, the blank gets reworked. The box is not meant to be thrown around, but it should survive normal retail handling.

Can this box hold a heavier bottle like a Burgundy or a sparkling wine?

It can hold a standard 750 ml still wine bottle. For heavier glass or sparkling, we recommend a thicker cardboard grade and possibly a different fold structure. Send us the bottle weight and we will tell you if this box is safe or if you need a rigid option.

How do I know the bottle will not rattle inside?

We adjust the cavity to your bottle dimensions and run our in house checks: shake for 10 seconds, tilt 45 degrees, invert. If there is any movement, we rework the blank. You can also request a blank sample to test with your own bottle.

Is the cardboard recyclable?

Yes, the box is made from recyclable cardboard. There is no lamination or plastic window in the standard version. If you add foil stamping or a gloss finish, recyclability can vary by local facility, so tell us your target market and we will advise.
