The book-shaped magnet closure opens flat, so it stores and ships collapsed. Winemakers who need to move high-end wine without paying for a rigid box use this one. Customisation

Change the paper color and texture, the handle style, the size, and the magnet strength. Add a printed logo on the lid or a debossed mark. We can also add an insert, either a paper mould or EVA foam, to hold the bottles more securely. Send us your bottle dimensions or a sample and we'll work from there.

How It's Built

The box starts as seven pieces of greyboard. We use 1200g greyboard as the minimum standard, with 1400g recommended for heavier spirits, though this box is built for wine. The greyboard is covered with texture paper, black on this version. The structure is a book-shaped magnet box: the lid is hinged and closes with magnets hidden in the board.

Because it's foldable, the creases have to be right. Our control tolerance for foldable boxes is that creases must not crack, magnet position is plus or minus 1 mm, and corners are 90 degrees when erected. The leather handle is attached with a metal buckle. It's a simple build, which is why it's the most economical double-bottle box we offer.

How Bottles Sit

The box holds two bottles side by side. There's no insert in the base version, so the bottles sit directly on the bottom board. That's fine for a gift box that won't travel far, but if you're shipping it, we'd add an insert. Our insert rule is simple: the bottle is held at four points, no unsupported neck or shoulder. We check that in-house with three tests. We shake the loaded box for 10 seconds and look for movement. We tilt it 45 degrees and check the bottles don't slide. Then we invert it and check they don't release. If your bottles are a non-standard shape, send us a sample and we'll adjust the insert to match.

Where It Works

This box suits wineries that sell two-bottle sets, holiday promotions, or gift packs. It's good for retail shelves because it folds flat for storage and looks decent when set up. The leather handle makes it a grab-and-go gift. It's not the right box if you need a rigid presentation piece for a single expensive bottle, or if you're shipping long distances without an insert. Yes, it's a foldable box. It ships flat and erects in seconds. The creases are made to fold without cracking, and the magnets are positioned within plus or minus 1 mm so the lid aligns when you set it up. That cuts your inbound freight cost compared to a rigid box.

Is the leather handle real leather?

The handle is leather, as specified for this product. If you need a different handle material, like PU or webbing, we can swap it. Just tell us your preference and we'll adjust the sample.

What if my bottles are a different diameter?

We adjust the box size to your bottle dimensions. The standard size is 36 by 24.5 by 12.5 cm, but we'll recut the greyboard for your bottle shape. Send a sample or exact measurements and we'll make a blank sample first to check the fit.
