Leather Wine Box with Transparent PVC Window
It's a single-bottle leather box with a clear PVC window cut into the front. The bottle stays visible. The leather does the talking. Stitched, not glued. Closed with a metal clasp. A leather handle makes carrying easy. Premium retail displays, corporate gifts, launch events. That's where buyers use it. Because of the window, the label shows through. Brand presence exists even before the box is opened. Embossing on the front adds another layer. Need a box that reads expensive and protects a bottle? This one fits.
- Leather body, stitched construction. The box is made from leather, and its edges are sewn. That gives a cleaner finish than a glued box and helps the box hold its shape over time.
- Transparent PVC window. A clear window is set into the front panel. The bottle label remains visible without opening the box. It works well on retail shelves where the bottle needs to sell itself.
- Metal clasp closure. During handling, a metal clasp keeps the lid shut. Opening and closing is simple. On a box this size, it won't wear out as fast as a magnetic catch.
- Leather handle. The handle is leather, matched to the box body. When you're handing it over or moving it around a store, the box is easier to carry.
- Embossed lettering area. Your brand name or logo can be embossed on the front panel. It reads clearly against the leather. The mark is subtle.

Customisation
On the front panel, we can emboss your logo or name. Leather colour can change. Window size and shape can be adjusted. The interior insert can be built to match your bottle. The handle and clasp can be finished in different metals. A different bottle count or a two-bottle version is also adaptable, so let us know. Send your bottle dimensions or a sample, plus your reference design and quantity. For the process, a blank sample for structure gets made first, then a printed sample for visual approval follows.
How the box is built
Leather, cut and stitched around a rigid frame, forms the body. The stitching is visible on the edges. Buyers notice this detail. The lid is attached to the base, so you don't have to keep track of two pieces. Set into the front panel and held by the leather surround, the PVC window is fixed. The clasp is metal, mounted on the front edge.
The handle is a leather strap, riveted or stitched to the top of the lid. One full bottle's weight can be carried without stretching, that's the design. The interior is not specified, but we can build it with a velvet tray, EVA foam, or a paper mould insert to hold the bottle still. For one bottle, not for sets, the box is made.
Bottle fit and our checks
The bottle sits inside the box. You can see it through the PVC window. We hold the bottle at four points, never by the neck or shoulder alone. Our control tolerance for the insert is plus or minus 1 mm, and the box body is plus or minus 2 mm. Before shipping, we run our in-house checks. Shake the loaded box for 10 seconds, no movement. Tilt it 45 degrees, no slide. Invert it, no release. The box also goes through a 1.2 m six-face drop test with a bottle loaded. That tells us if the clasp, handle, and window survive a fall. If the bottle moves or the window pops, we fix the insert or the frame before it leaves.
Where it fits
Premium single-bottle gifting, retail display, and brand activations suit this box. That includes when the bottle itself is the hero: a limited release, a reserve wine, a corporate thank-you. With the window, you don't need to open the box to show the product. On a shelf or in a gift bag, it's useful. For shipping multiple bottles or for heavy transit, it's not the right box. It's a presentation box, not a shipping carton. If you need something to go through courier networks, pair it with a shipping box or choose a rigid cardboard design instead.
Buyer questions
Can the PVC window be made larger or smaller?
Yes. Into the leather panel the window is cut, so we can adjust size and position to match your label. Within the rigid frame is where we recommend keeping the window. It means the leather still supports the bottle. Send your label dimensions, and we'll check the layout.
Will the embossed logo fade or flatten over time?
If you store and handle the box normally, embossing on leather holds up well. A deep emboss with a clean edge is what we use, and the depth is checked on the first article. Don't stack heavy boxes directly on the embossed area for long periods, that's the only caution.
Is the handle strong enough for a full bottle?
The handle is leather. To the rigid frame, not just the lid skin, it attaches. We test the loaded box with a 1.2 m drop and a shake test. Any failure in the handle or stitching leads to reinforcement before mass production. That's how we handle it.
